Seriously… No Bullshit. I rate it 4 Brews Travelers Visors. ( out of 5…)
I’m gonna showcase this article with a quick 5 WHY. (Like why did I give it 4 out of 5 without really explaining the deduction of the 5th beatle visor.)
- Location – It’s about 1/10 of a mile off the highway and not far from Detroit or Ann Arbor.
- Beer- it’s good, it’s creative and it’s good. You heard me.
- Tap Handles – Cool, Creative and Classy. Stay Classy Milan, Michigan!
- Primordial Porter – Ok, so I covered beer at #2, but this is one of the better porters out there. Chocolatey, Coffee-ey, and in my Belly.
- Bad-ass Brand – Original Gravity with a sweet Logo. It’s a Pint Glass for the collection.
- Small Batch Tuesday – This is only through word of mouth, but from what I understand he brings out some small batches that last only one evening and usually on Tuesdays. (Keeping with his homebrew roots)
- Creativity – some of their beers are deliciously crazy and creative. I even read about some called Pastrami on Rye and Pumpkin Donut Ale
(BTW, 7 is a luckier number than 5. Also, there are a ton of pics at the bottom. I can’t stay on topic. Sorry.)
They (THE OG) are still very close to their roots with homebrew and that to me is very appealing.
We visited this place twice and in between, we stopped at some very good breweries. This being said, it can keep up with those breweries. I have no doubt about this.
You can find their beer in some pubs around Detroit, but you will have to visit the brewery to get some for your home.

I would even bet that it’s a brewery your mother would love to visit. Stay Classy, Travelers!
